About Us
Kilema hospital is a council designated hospital (CDH) owned by catholic diocese of Moshi. Its located at Moshi Rural District, serving mainly the eastern half of the district.
Its located on an altitude of about 1500 meters (m) abave the sea level and about 52 kilometes (km) from Moshi Municipality. Kilema hospital began as a dispensary in 1920 and 1976 it was upgraded to the status of hospital.
In july 1984, it became district disignated hospital and in 2014 it became council designated hospital up to now.
